I don't think its a firewall issue of Linux because I did everything the wiki says and followed this youtube video. Or maybe I am missing some dependency. Hello, I got exactly the same issue than you after upgrading samba-and smbclient from 3.4.5-1.1 to 3.4.6-1: symlinks in a share don't work anymore.
