Fedup is correct there is usually a black wire coming out of the blower housing that grounds the magneto to kill the engine. All ignition switches have a terminal marked "G" (ground). Disconnect the battery negative (black cable) & isolate it. Then remove the black plastic cover on the rear of the starter motor and make sure the connections are tight. If you don't disconnect the battery before doing this, your wrench will make a perfect short circuit.
